Somerset Prison Officers Sustain Work Injury

On July 29, 2011, two Somerset prison officers were injured when they were assaulted by an inmate during a recreational session. The injured workers are employed at Somerset Correctional Institution. Both officers were taken to the hospital for treatment of head injuries. The Somerset County District Attorney’s Office is investigating the incident for possible charges against the prisoner, Jermaine King.
