National Labor Relations Board Settles Case Involving Facebook

The National Relations Board has settled the case of an a Connecticut ambulance company employee who was illegally fired and denied union representation due to criticisms of her supervisor on Facebook. The ambulance company, American Medical Response of Connecticut, has also agreed to revise its rules so as not to improperly restrict employees from discussing wages, hours and working conditions with other employees while not at work or fire or discipline them for these discussions or requesting union representation.
