Meet Matthew P. Kaminsky, Esquire

Mr. Kaminsky was raised in Towanda, a small town in Northeastern Pennsylvania, where his parents instilled in him traditional values of hard work and caring for your community. This is reflected in his dedication to protecting injured workers’ rights and ensuring Employers take responsibility for their employee’s injuries.

Mr. Kaminsky is a 1999 graduate of Towanda Area High School, in Towanda Pennsylvania.

In 2004 Mr. Kaminsky graduated from Bloomsburg University, in Bloomsburg Pennsylvania. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. While attending Bloomsburg University, he became a brother of the Tau Kappa Epsilon international fraternity. After graduation, Mr. Kaminsky worked in banking and financial services for 10 years.

In 2008 when the financial markets crashed due to irresponsible investment banking on Wall Street, Mr. Kaminsky decided it was time to change his career. He turned his focus to a career that I could make a positive difference in people’s lives.

Mr. Kaminsky enrolled at Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg. He continued to work full-time during the day and went to law school in the evenings. Mr. Kaminsky earned his law degree (Juris Doctorate) from Widener in 2012 and he started his own Law Office shortly thereafter. After meeting Ron Calhoon and understanding Ron’s passion for protecting injured workers’ rights, Mr. Kaminsky decided he would focus his legal career in the same direction.

In 2014, Mr. Kaminsky came to Calhoon and Kaminsky P.C., with a passion to represent injured workers in their Workers’ Compensation cases.

Mr. Kaminsky currently resides in the Hershey area with his wife, 3 children, and dog. He is an avid outdoorsman, which is why he settled in central Pennsylvania. He enjoys being outdoors with his family, hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
