Ron has once again been selected as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in Workers’ Compensation. Ron would like to thank his peers for recognizing his dedicated service to injured workers. Ultimately, he thanks his clients for the privilege of serving them in their workers’ compensation matters since it is the recognition of representing the injured that resulted in being honored as the best 5% of attorneys.
Super Lawyers are attorneys selected using a rigorous, multiphase process in which peer nominations and evaluations are combined with independent research. The objective is to create a comprehensive, diverse, and credible listing for attorneys that can be used as a resource for attorneys and consumers searching for legal counsel.
The first phase is the creation of the candidate’s pool. The research department evaluates each candidate based on these 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement: verdicts and settlements; transactions; representative clients; experience; honors and awards; special licenses and certifications; position within law firm; bar and or other professional activity; pro bono and community service as a lawyer; scholarly lectures and writings; education and employment background; and other outstanding achievements. The last step is a review of the candidates by their peers within their primary area of practice. These systems create the checks and balances that produce a well rounded list. The final published list represents no more than 5% of the best lawyers in the state. The lists are published annually in state and regional editions of Super Lawyers magazine and in inserts and special sections in leading city and regional magazines and newspapers.
